Working bee - community planting and water testing Sunday 28 May

When: Sunday 28 May, 10 am to 1 pm Where: Meet near the creek below Union Road Bring family, friends and other willing workers Wear sensible work clothes including sturdy footwear, gloves and a sunhat. Stay afterwards for free drinks, bickies and a chat Please note the Committee of Friends of South Surrey Park (Registration Number A 0032389N) advises volunteers that you work at your own risk whilst attending working bees in the park.

Possum boxes installed

5 possum boxes have just been installed in native eucalypts in the park. Two are near the notice board, one is across the bridge towards the children's playground, one is near Union Road, and one is in the large eucalypt near Essex Road. 4 of the boxes are for Brushtailed possums and one is for Ring Tailed possums.
