Friends of South Surrey Park produce a monthly newsletter. Each newsletter contains a report from the previous working bee, what to expect from the upcoming working bee and information about a plant or animal you might see in the park including pest species. There are always photos and the newsletter is a great opportunity to see what we are doing in South Surrey Park. To access the latest newsletter tap on the link above.

  FSSP 2024 Working Bee Program    South Surrey Park runs along Back Creek between Riversdale and Union Roads, north of Through Road. The Friends of South Surrey Park revegetate and maintain this biodiversity corridor.   Improving the park through planting indigenous species, weeding and removing litter has turned this area into an urban bushland enjoyed by people of all ages.   Regular Working Bees : 10.00am-12.00pm ·       Tuesday mornings: weeding, mulching First 2024 working bee: 6 th February. ·       Last Sunday of the month: planting in the cooler month, weeding, “tidying up” the park. 2024 Sunday Dates : 28 th April, 26 th May (planting), 30 th June (planting), 28 th July (planting), 25 th August, 29 th September, 27 th October, 24 th November.   Meet outside storage shed behind Scout Hall, Riversdale Road   For more information ·     www.facebook.com/pages/South-Surrey-Park ·     www.southsurreypark.org ·     Information shelter in South Surrey
